Skill Half Life (skillhalflife.com) is a small independent business run from the Netherlands. Today this site is a waitlist for a career planning service that is still being built. This page explains what personal data we collect now, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: hello@skillhalflife.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you join the waitlist. We use it to tell you when the service opens and to send a few short updates while we build it.
- If you came from a Job Exposure Index job page, the name of that job page, so we know which jobs to support first.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider processes briefly to serve and protect the site, and anonymous visit counts.
We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we never sell or rent your data. Before the paid service opens, we'll update this page to cover questionnaire answers, payments and plans.
Who processes it for us
- Kit (kit.com) stores the waitlist and sends the emails.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and provides anonymous visit statistics.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts used on this site.
Your rights
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your data by writing to hello@skillhalflife.com. If you're in the EU, you can complain to your data protection authority; in the Netherlands that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
